University of Madras Institute of Distance Education Result 2023 – How to Check Result
The institute declares the examination result on it official website. Both semester examination results are declared separately on the web portal.
The institute follows semester wise curriculum i.e. odd and even semester. The institute conducts odd semester examination in the month of December/January, whereas the even semester examination is held in the month of May/June. Students can follow the given below steps to check their respective result:
- Go to the web portal of the University of Madras Institute of Distance Education.
- Click on the results and hall ticket option.
- A dialogue box will display on the screen containing the courses results links.
- Click on your respective course result link.

Institute of Distance Education
The University of Madras has developed an excellent Institute of Distance Education (IDE) in the year 1981 to help learners to achieve their educational, career and personal goals. It has completed more than 25 years of service in the field of Distance Education. Now IDE is offering 16 Undergraduate Courses, 22 Postgraduate Courses under CBCS Pattern (Approved by UGC No.F.1-6/2018(DEB-1),dated 03.10.2018), 19 Diploma Courses and 16 Certificate Courses.
Admissions are made throughout the year for all these 73 Programmes in two streams namely Academic Year Admissions and Calendar Year Admissions.
